Hi all,

Noob bonnie owner. '98 SE with 123K miles. Runs and drives great, shifts smooth, no issues accelerating, no leaks, no smoke, coolant levels rock steady.
CEL light came on this morning driving to work... only have to go 3 miles.

Took it to Advanced Auto since I wanted to grab a PureOne air filter and had them scan the car...

P0135 - which after searching here on the forums sounds like it's the forward O2 sensor?
I'm looking up the part - hope it's not expensive.... Is this easy to replace? Is there anything else that could cause the same error to trip?

I'm hoping this is something quick, cheap, and easy to fix

Replace it with a Delco one-no off brands. E-bay has them for about $40.

The sensor is in the rear exhaust manifold. Uses a special socket, about $8, see the parts puppies. Should swap out in about 15-20 minutes.

Thanks for the info!

I'll look on ebay for a Delco one and find this special socket... sounds easy enough :)
