one thing to check is the VSS on the tranny, the shifts are controlled based on vehicle speed and if it doesn't think the car is moving then it wont shift at all from a dead start. if it is losing the signal for whatever reason it might explain the funny transmission behavior

Nice looking rig man. Wish I had the time to dismantle and clean my rigs. I know they could use them.

It was probably an option from the factory. That'd be my guess.

That is an aftermarket accessory, wasn't a factory option. Just a stick on appliqué.

Yep, mine has the same RPO code. I think it looks good. You're doing good work again Andrew.

Wow, that chrome is really factory? I would have assumed it was aftermarket like Jason.

Does that mean I can order specific pieces for when I have the bodywork done?

It wasn't factory on the 98 Yukon we have, but it certainly was in all the catalogs like Performance.

never knew it was a factory option. Haro, you probably want to order the lmc catalog they have good stuff but also they have exploded diagrams of most of the truck so that you can order a specific piece

LMC is pretty much overpriced and the shipping sucks. But sometimes they are the only carrier around so you may have to pony up the cash.

I have used LMC and will vouch for the high quality products they sell.

Andrew -if you get the lower rocker panel trim set, your truck, aside from not being a GMC, would be identical to the GMC Sierra my uncle leased new back in 1996. I remember riding in that truck a couple times in the first month he had it..... I've never ridden in a truck I liked as much as that one. The color was/is stunning, and the ride, for it's time, was excellent.

Picked up this toolbox this weekend for $83. Needed a little lock work, but its in tip-top shape now. I love how deep it is, just gotta fill it up now.
