Rear Reflector removal

I want to clear my rear reflector and have found a few how to's but none of them actually tell how to get it off. I tried taking out the 4 obvious nuts from the inside of the trunk but it still didn't seem to want to come off. It seemed to be holding on near the upper corners. If anyone has some input that would be apreciated.
thanks
Jamie

are their only 4 bolts in back?
after you remove those
there are clips holding it on, they are VERY STUBBORN (although mine were not), may have to pry with a long screwdriver

According to GM, the clips are not reusable, however you can't order new ones. Stupid huh?
To get the reflector off, you have to pry. It usually takes a LOT of force. It feels like the reflector is going to break, but thats the only way. I typically use 2 large flat blade screwdrivers. One to pry the reflector away from the trunklid, and another to sneak in the crack to pry directly at the clip.
Here are what the clips look like.
Here is what they look like when 1 tab breaks off.

Does anyone have a photo with theirs taken out completely and done some body work to make it look good without the reflector?

I don't think it is possible to make it look good without the reflector, unless you know how to weld or use a lot of bondo.
