About ready to get the Bonneville back out

Its about time for me to get the Bonnie back on the road after sitting in my barn all winter.
I am going to change the lower intake gaskets and do some other things,
here is my list of what I am planning to buy:
-LIM gaskets
-supercharger gasket
-supercharger oil
-180 thermostat & gasket
-new plugs and wires
-fuel filter
-Also going to get a new PCM
-Going to paint the valve covers and supercharger with some wrinkle black paint as well

Is there a good tutorial on here about changing the LIM gaskets? I've done it on my LeSabre, but a step-by-step would be a good thing...

Let me know if there is anything I left out or is important to know beforehand

Techinfo is your friend: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=3591. It's on a N/A, but L67 is similar. Go to the dealer, and get the vacuum harness. I guarantee at least one of the elbows or tee's will break off. It's $26, but easier to have it on hand and not need it, than to have your car down for 2 extra days while it's on order. Have it on hand when you do the LIM gaskets.

Also, when painting your S/C, mask it off very well. You don't want paint where it's not supposed to. I used blue painters tape, and a sharp razor blade to trim it. Worked very well.

Thanks for the info. I will definitely be printing that out.
Just got done ordering most of my parts. I'll be going to the parts stores this week and getting the rest.

Did you put the parts with the wrinkle paint in an oven, or did you use a blow dryer? I have heard that will work also.

I'll be doing this on my spring break in a couple weeks, although I would rather be somewhere nice.
Getting the Bonneville ready for performance upgrades can be fun too :twisted:

I used a heat gun, and left the S/C to air dry, as it wasn't absorbing heat like the VC's did. They look very cool.
