i'm still finding pics on the computer to add to it.

All 3 cars have viper alarms with keyless entry, remote trunk release and remote controlled windows. the white x-11 also has remote start.
i'll try to get a vidoe of the remote windows posted.

btw...the 3800SC SeriesII and tranny from my wrecked 98 SSEi is going into the white X-11.

let me know what you think.

Terry

I hate you. I've always wanted a X-11 or Phoenix, but can NEVER find one. :( I would trade you my SSEI for the white one.

Sorry, the White 85 X-11 will never be for sale [-X ...however I have decided that I'm going to put up the Phoenix SJ for sale soon. I have too many cars to keep up with now, so something's gotta go. I'm keeping the black X-11...I have to finish the conversion and it's my first one and keeping for sentimental reasons...the white X-11 cause it's in the best shape and best suited for the 3800SC conversion (already has fuel injection and digital display with information center that the bonnie body control module with interface with), so that leaves the Phoenix SJ. I love the car...it handles like a dream! even with 211,000 miles on it! but it has no potential for electronic upgrades (they didn't make an STE with brown interior). So, i felt best to keep it as much stock as possible (only non-stock items are foglights, viper alarm, mudflaps, and Kenwood stereo. the rest of the car is pretty much factory original...has the 'Z' HO engine, close ratio 4-speed, close ratio steering, full instrumentation, F41 suspension, tuned high flo exhaust, A/C, PS, PB, PW, PDL. I have all manuals and original order sheet, and a spare 14" factory mag wheel, too. It needs to have all the seals and gaskets in the motor replaced, (its leaking pretty much everywhere now) and has a clutch kit and new steering rack setting in the garage waiting to be installed. And needs a little work on the driver seat upholstry. Don't know if I'll go ahead and do the work myself or sell it with all the parts to do the work. I have enough work to do with the 2 X-11's to keep me busy for a while. I'd like to have both done for Carlisle GM Nationals 2009 in June. I'll have the white one finished for sure but don't know about the black one.

If you're interested in the Phoenix SJ let me know. Btw, the X CLub that I'm a member of (chevycitationsforever on Yahoo groups) will get first dibs when it goes on sale. I've been a member there since 2002 and most members all know about the car.

i'll have to make a decision soon as I need to make room while I work on the X-11's

Thanks,

Terry

Man.... I just may have to buy that Phoenix. If you could/can hold out till spring, I'd have the cash for it. How much would you be asking for it?

:hail: That is an awesome collection! I can't wait to see those conversion pictures! Your white X-11 is going to be a little bit too amazing with an L67 and all the other goods you've so far put into it. Amazing work!

They look like fun.

What platform were they based on ?

They weren't based on any previous platform....the "X" bodies were the first compact FWD platform developed by GM...the "A" bodies...Celebrity, 6000, Century, Ciera are an extension of the X bodies (a little longer fore and aft of the wheels) and then the U-Vans (Lumina, Transport, Silouette) used the front engine cradles.
