Bolt size?

Post by skypilot »

Anyone know the bolt head size of the ignition coil pack bolts. I have tried 5mm-6mm, 7/64's and a bunch of other tiny sized wrenches with no joy. This is on the 2001 SSEi as when I did change one on my old 96 SE no problem.

Isn't it a 5.5mm? I thought that was the standard head size for most GM coil packs.

Yes, its 5.5mm, but 7/32nds is the closest you are going to get with a regular socket set.

The size is shared on all GM's..
