Good morning, All. I have an '01 SE with 184K on her and have just snapped the driver's side front coil spring (front strut replacement has been on my list for years...so now's the time). I have been a member of this group since I bought her in Feb. 2014 and years ago I read a post with the separate part numbers to piece together the new struts instead of purchasing "quick-struts". Back then, I wrote the information down...and still have it...but cannot find the post with the info on which new coil springs I need to go with. I'm quite sure that this is a redundant post, with our cars being 20 years old, but I love her and want to keep her going until she dies. What is the manufacturer/part number of the coils I need to purchase and where can I get them? RA.com only offers ACDelcos for the rears, but not the fronts, btw.
Harofreak, if I cannot find the info I need, can I purchase a pair of fronts from you? I've ordered many things from you, before.
Thanks, in advance, for all of your wizardry, Guys!!

Re: Front coil spring replacement
I put rock auto struts on my Bonneville with original springs. I might of got them in the LeSabre section , think it was these

Just checked that one is in the bonnie section too. Pretty sure i have that in both my wife's Buick and my bonnie. It seamed like it was a 1/4 inch taller than the one that came out. can't tell the difference looking at car, rides great.
Springs from Haro and those struts should make a good ride with Monroe air in the back.

Re: Front coil spring replacement
Thanks, Bullet! I picked up a good used set of coils from Andrew, and the rest of the strut components from RA and she is good to go! Went to take her in for an alignment and found that 1 hub and both inner tie-rods are *shoot* so those are next. It's always something with this old girl.
J.
