Radiator upgrade issue

Hi All

My original radiator finally let go. I did some searching and read that the Olds aurora 3.5 radiator could fit. I ordered one for a 2002 Aurora and picked up a coolant bottle from the junk yard. Got everything in and together. I added a T fitting to the inlet heater hose to run the new bottle. I'm having trouble with coolant flow. The lower hose is staying cold. The bottle keeps filling up its not over flowing. At idle the temp is great at 185ish. Something when driving it will get to 220. I've checked and rechecked everything and not sure why it's not flowing.
Any ideas?
Thanks Keith

You re-engineered the cooling system and didn't provide any links to what you did. I'm not even sure how to begin to help you. Post some pictures or more information.

I installed a new radiator from a 2002 oldsmobile Aurora 3.5. The lower and upper radiator hoses are the same. I also installed a new coolant bottle from the Aurora. For the outlet (bottom hose on new bottle) I tied it into the inlet heater hose with a T fitting so I could keep the original routing from the Alternator bracket to the firewall.. I removed the bleed valve on the thermostat housing installed a new fitting ran a hose from that to the top of the new coolant bottle. I will try to upload pictures tonight
