Brake upgrade

I am a new car enthusiast, with minimal experience and knowledge. I am 19. And my first car is a 01 SSEi, the previous owner tried to do the brakes themselves but ended up striping a few of the caliper bolts, I need a complete new brake system, I want to upgrade to dual piston. Can I just order reman calipers and rotors for a GXP bonneville and put them onto 17 inch wheels? What do I do for brake lines?

I appreciate any advice and help, thank you!

There should be a number of threads on this procedure available by searching, but basically the GXP front rotor/caliper swap is a straightforward upgrade for the SSEi. The brake lines are good as is, I believe, but the GXP caliper bolts need to be used. Hopefully someone who has actually done this upgrade will chime in with more detail.

There doesn't appear to be any need to swap the rear brakes, except the calipers are red...

The GXP brake system will fit in the swoopy 17's from the 01 SSEi?

The GXP brakes will work great on your SSEi, but you need everything: rotors, pads, calipers, caliper brackets, bracket bolts and lines. I suggest new/rebuilt calipers, but if you need the other stuff I have used parts available.
