There are 4 total motor mounts. A transmission mount in the driver front corner. 2 engine mounts on the sides of the engine, which you can see through the wheel wells. 1 transmission mount on the back of the transmission by the sway bar and steering rack.

The front transmission mount is NOTORIOUS for tearing. Replace it if you are having rough shifts. You can use an OEM replacement, which will fail shortly after. Or use the boat roller design, seen at the top of the 2000-2005 section. NorthStar Performance also makes a bulletproof mount as well.

The solid mount isn't that harsh, but if you are looking for the super smooth grandma ride then you probably won't like it. Its cheap enough just to try to see if you like it.

There are 3 mounts bolted to the transmission, and 1 to the engine.

I got rid of both my hockey puck and boat roller mounts because I didn't like the vibrations, your results may vary. Like Andrew said, they are so cheap to build (or buy from Andrew), that you can give one a try.

I ended up using the N* performance mount. It is expensive, but durable and almost feels like the stock mount.
