Hi Guys,

I haven't been on in ages (sorry), but I still have mu Bonnie. It was riding rough--you know, idling rough and accelerating unevenly--so I scanned it. Misfire on cylinder number 2. I REALLY need to drive it just about 12 street miles tomorrow. Will it be okay? What's the worst thing that will happen?

Thanks for your help.

the worst thing is that you will pollute your cat with unburnt fuel and lessen its life

you can check to see if the wire boot has come loose from the plug on that cylinder - closest to where passenger sits - near coolant reservoir near the back firewall.
you can drive slowly with the miss but only if you have to.

Thanks so much 96 SSEi. I appreciate the reply and guidance. Not sure I will do anything at this point because it looks like I am not even going to be able to keep my car. I am going to do a separate post about that. Very sad.
Thanks again for the help.
