Not so regular, regular maintenance and a sss question
I finally got around to replacing the ignition system. Had Bosch wires, I I know some people here don't like them, but I was cash strapped at the time, NGK-TR55's and OEM coils and a Bosch O2 sensor. Replaced them with ngk iridium plugs, belden wires, OEM coils and a Bosch O2 sensor. I got 7years of daily driver and pizza delivery out of the old stuff, hope for another 100k from this stuff. Before that I got my baby out of the stealership shop after having the master cylinder and a rear rotor replaced. I had them scan for all codes and obd and anything they could find. The only codes were for the O2 sensor. The only thing they found wrong with the suspension was the shocks needed to be replaced. I'm getting a hard pull back when I first start off each day. It feels like a bad bearing, but immediately the SSS notification comes on and it smooths out and I don't have it happen again until the next day. Is this something that will eventually lead to a major repair or a sensor, or what?

If it's a bad bearing--and there's a very good possibility that it is---then your wheel bearing will eventually lock up.
Possible result is an accident.
You could jack up each wheel when the car is cold and see which one is hard to spin.
You don't make it clear whether you still have an oxygen sensor code.
Bosch sensors are known to be problematic in our cars.
If you still have the code, the ACDelco OE sensor is only $10 more than the Bosch one at Amazon.

Re: Not so regular, regular maintenance and a sss question
The O2 sensor hasn't come back up, but these abs codes have c1245, c1281, c1287, c1288. I believe these are for the accelerator sensor and the steering wheel sensor. I'm going to check for any ground problems with the wheel hubs and the abs and fuse box. I also read that the steering wheel sensor can be adjusted for less sensitivity at the dealership. Anyone ever had this done? Any other suggestions?
