So here she is: my new 01 SSEi from the original owner, bought with just over 74k on it. CEL is for coolant temp range so I need to square that away. She does have some bubbling starting at the fuel door but not crazy (the car not the gf) and some quirks, but I'm excited to turn this thing into a 200k mile DD. Car payments ADIOS!

Looks great and is my favorite color, too.
I'd check for coolant pooling around the intake bolts, indicating the immediate need to change out the LIM gaskets.

Thanks guys! The car was babied for sure, the original owners were an older couple and barely drove (obviously) but I'm already stacking the list of maintenance to cross off...but that comes with the upgrade list too. I mean, why re-install the current S/C when doing the gaskets when I could get a better one? But still have some learning to do on the different options though...so much reading to do.

And it's my first silver car and it really is growing on me, looks sharp when clean!

I was thinking it's really freaking clean, even the swoopies.

Hehe, yea it finally got a good thorough wash while running errands and I thought "hey, now's a good time as any." The gf didn't think the setting was right, and I said in Chicago January there is NO right setting!!

Pair of SSEI, I was just in North Carolina on business and saw ZERO Bonnie's (well one, but abandoned on the road side, d'oh) and I think it so sad the Pontiac line died...*dang* Buick...

jradke, I know, the engine bay is gross. But some work is coming in the next couple weeks so I figure once it's all back together then it will be detailing time!!
