She is a classic

Post by bonnevillen »

Today I painted my original rims flame red to match the car. The rims on the car are chrome Bonne 5 spokes but I like the original rims better. I rebuilt the Cold air intake system. I oil sprayed the whole car and got covered in the process. Yesterday I put 3 almost new tires on the chrome rims, Gotta change them over on Mon to the new rims and change the air conditioning pump. I fixed the exhaust rattle. Checked the brakes. Just got her a couple of days ago and the previous owner Mcgivered her a little, but had a dealership do the routine maintenance, but there is still a ton of work to do. Motor mounts need replacing. She will need to come off the road for a few days or week to do the body properly. Interior need to come out. I think this car is salvageable. I have both the skill and the time just gotta find the money. The future will see me rebuilding, porting and polishing the super charger, intake, and throttle body. I think a 2.2 pulley is recommended. Updates to follow.

Yes, I'd love to see how this car looks with those flame red rims.
