This post is just downright pornographic, so much so that it may be a violation of site rules.

Thank you for sharing it anyway :)

Amazing work Pat, I'm glad to have finally been able to see your car this year at the meet. Inside and out, it's a stunner.

Great execution as always.

I don't know why but I definitely think a bigger blower is the way to go with this car.

Looks great! But the real question is how does it run?

If I didn't know any better, I would suspect he is hoping to crack 11's (or a transmission), but I say that, and I don't recall the 8-ball mod list.

I think 8 ball bested 12.1.

Someone else managed a 11.6 twincharged Bonneville, but the project was abandoned on account of repeated head gasket failures.

Nice. Its a killer setup for sure. I'm over here hoping to break 13's when I get my rockers installed lol.

it is as fast at 50% throttle as the Gen V build was at 100% throttle.

The Trans is bullet proof im not worried about that

Honestly im not "in search" of a specific time. I will dyno it possibly in the fall and take it to the track.

I did the build because of the uniqueness of the Intense Kit. There will probably not be another one offered for sale.

Yikes! Thanks for sharing the pics though....how difficult is it to drop the whole subframe like that to pull the engine? Looks like Jackstands for the body...no lift?

its actually not bad at all. The Rear of the car is on Ramps, and the front is on Jackstands. Once its high enough it simply drops out.

my buddy has a lift in his garage at his house but I didn't want to tie it up while mine was getting worked on. I have a big enough space that it actually was enjoyable to work on

IIRC, the reason that Intense didn't go further with Bone Evil was not due to transmission problems, but because they kept blowing out axles. Great looking build!

well, Bad SSEi had the Kenny Bell Blowzilla setup on it and they kept shredding belts. I believe Bad SSEi also had a full GMR trans, and from what I recall they used stock axles also

Wasn't Bad SSEi's drivetrain the same one that was in the Spirit of Bonneville? At least at one point it was.

I think the supercharger came from it at least.

I don't think it was the whole drivetrain though.

Definitely not the transmission. The spirit of Bonneville car's FDR was too tall for the 1/4.
