Fenderwell Intake?

Talk about modifications, or anything else associated with performance enhancements. Have a new idea for performance/reliability? Post it here. No idea is stupid! (please use Detailing and Appearance for cosmetic ideas)

Keep the sensor. If f you bought aFWI kit, it should have a location for the sensor.

+1, the kit from Intense Racing will come with a coupler to attach your throttle body to the intake, and it has a provision for the IAT sensor. Or, another option like I did (before my coupler dry rotted lol) is to get a normal coupler without a provision for the iat. Then get an iat extension harness from zzperformance, a small pvc breather filter, stick the iat in the breather, and zip tie the iat sensor and extension harness down into the fenderwell with the intake filter. Not that it'll make much difference either way.

I drilled a hole in my FWI Pipe and installed a rubber PCV Grommet, then pushed it into the grommet.

You could also use a Syclone/Typhoon/Turbo Grand prix sensor that threads into the pipe (i did this on my Turbo LQ1 setup)
