So I'm thinking about getting the flowmaster super 10s - the flowmaster super 40 delta flows are louder, but id like it to sound meaner. I was wondering if there would be any difference of running a one single in/dual out muffler with two pipes running out the back and running two actual mufflers?

I don't know the answer to your question. I do know that the GXP's sound good but don't have much power. Personally I'd slap some mufflers on there and call it a day.

Has anybody used spintech pro street 9000's that's what I'm putting on next month. Ive had the 10 series flowmasters on several v8s and they sound like a 40 series compared to the spintechs. Maybe these will help with the raspy sound these engines have.

For your 3800, almost any muffler will sound relatively the same. The 3800 is an awful sounding engine, I'd say to leave it alone. I have Flowmaster 44s on my car and I like it. Slightly deeper and louder than stock.

I think Pat has them on his 2003 SSEi, and they're whisper quiet.

correct, they are maybe slightly louder than stock, but they do have a larger diameter muffler inlet
