Life long Pontiac owner...

Post by mdinno »

Hello everyone. New poster but certainly not new to this site. I own a 03 SLE. I had a 94 many years ago. I've owned three TransAms. An 86, 96, and a 99WS6. Long live Pontiac! The brand will never die!

I will. A little history. I'm the second owner. I bought the car with 30,000 miles. I currently have 114,000 + miles. Parts I had to replace were Coil Packs, Catalytic Converter, EGR Valve, Water Pump, Sway Arm links, oil pressure gauge. Fuel gauge has stopped working and my indicator light on the shifter is out. It also uses a little oil. Little more than a quart every three thousand miles. But all my Pontiacs have done that. One item I used that cut it down big time and also gave me more power is this product called Engine Restore. Works as advertised, let me tell you.Other little things like the Cigarette lighter up top caved in. The rear one came out also. Steering has always felt a little loose since day one. One major problem I had that mysteriously went away was rain water getting in the car. I have no idea how but somehow the car must have settled I'm guessing and the issue went away by itself. Other than that I love the car like I have with all my Pontiacs!!
