mis-fire issues

Post by pfmeeks »

Ok.. heres the problem.. I just bought this car and its always had a little rough running issue. I found it had a bad upstream o2 sensor, I replaced that and the MAF connector. It runs much better but at idle it still doesn't want to run perfectly smooth. The engine has about 140k miles. Here is everything else ive done..

Replaced the EGR tube ( fixed P0171 code )
New Plug wires
Cleaned the throttle body spotless
Previous owner replaced plugs with A/C delco platinums.
Checked fuel pressure at idle and its a steady 45 psi
Vacuum at idle is 20in.
Sprayed around intake, injectors, and vac hoses with carb cleaner no signs of leak
Tried swapping a good known MAF, TPS, & IAC, coil pack/module assy. off a friends car ( didn't fix It )
Removed the PCV, not stuck and working as it should

Only thing left I can think of is bad plugs or injectors.

Any other ideas ? No CEL codes at this time..

Hi, I would make sure
you run with good fuel and clean the IAC if problem is only at idle speeds
poverty forces one to do unorthodox things
