Powerstop or Brakemotive

Hey everyone.
I need to replace my brakes asap and I'm torn between which Brakemotive and Power Stop for my options. These 2 seem to be most bang for your buck options. I'm in the Chicago area so I'm leaning towards Brakemotive. I plan on doing pads and rotors all the way around.
I'm just looking for some insight from anyone who has chosen to use either brand. Pros, cons and general info are all welcome. I do a lot of highway driving so I want to be confident in my stopping ability. I also plan to do a little modding in the future, but nothing more than a downpipe, and possibly a pulley swap.
Currently, I'm rolling on warped rotors and the pads are starting to squeak, so the sooner I do this, the better.
Thanks for your help everyone!
Happy Driving!

I have used both and have no complaints, but the Powerstop set seems to be holding up better without rusting. Also, last I knew, Brakemotive no longer made a kit for the SSEi.

I've always opted for BrakePerformance kits. I've done a dimple-drilled and slotted rotor on EVERY car I've owned for the last 10 years. They have a lifetime warranty against warping or cracking and I've never had any issues. No rusting, warping, cracking or even color fade when I've ordered the black set instead of the shiny ones...

The slotted Powerstops I had were the best rotors I've ever experienced. They held up to almost 70k miles.

Hey, some forums are strict... they get all whiny if it's not an "approved" vendor.
I didn't know
hehehe

Which set Powerstop set up did you use? z23 or z26? I checked out Brakemotive last night and they do still have kits for the SSEi. What's got me leaning a little more towards them is they have a package with calipers for the front which would be a nice swap for the price.

Put on Powerstop in April.

the odometer has almost 92k miles on it now. I love the brakes, and the boss lady can definitely tell the difference for the better - big time. - BC

I vote for powerstop too. I personally used them on my last vehicles. Z 23 is alright for daily usage.

Old thread, but either will be fine for your intended use.
