I am trying to get a part number or help finding a new Sending Unit,

All part places recommends the wrong one...

Do anyone know what sending unit I should be looking for,

I do have a photo of the one in my tank, if someone could tell me what part number I have.

Do you have A/C?

Reason I ask, is that this is what I found in the 1966 Pontiac Service Manual;
Because of the difference in construction and location of the fuel tanks, two different fuel tank gauge units are required for standard and station wagon models. Two additional fuel tank gauge units are required (one for standard, one for station wagons) to accomodate cars equipped with A/C (fig. 8 - 6). In all A/C cars, a vapor return line runs alongside the gas line from the vapor separator can, at the fuel pump, to the fuel tank and prevents vapor from entering the fuel line to the carburetor by bleeding off or separating the vapor from the gas and returning it to the fuel tank, greatly reducing the possibility of vapor lock.
With that said, here is the service manual illustration (8 - 6 as mentioned above);

So with this in mind, I hit up both Rock Auto and AutoZone. Both offer the Spectra Premium 3/8 outlet units (FG88B). This unit would appear to be a non-A/C unit.

Which if you DON'T have A/C, and you have the FG88D pump, I think you're ok. It's fuel line may not match the illustration above, but the seal/gasket, cam lock, and unit look identical. If you have A/C, You will want one with the vapor line.

Would it look something like this?

https://www.yearone.com/Product/1964-72-gto/2112nr

To post pics you have to load them to a site like photobucket, flickr, etc..

The link them here using the image tagging feature. For example "insertlinktoyourimagehere[/ i m g]"

Just take the qoutations out and the spaces in "img"

Roger, that looks to be it. Other than the fitting on the end of the long tube of yours, the almost look identical.

Year One (the site from above), is where I went and looked. They have a couple more varieties. That is part #2112NR. 2114NR is the same, except it has that second EVAP return line (for A/C cars).

Thanks so much for your help and effort,

I tried to line up the new with the old in below link, It looks like that the new would be to tall even if the images is somewhat not quite the same.
Strange that there are no OEM product code for what I have.
