Installing an FM adapter to a 2000 Bonneville SE

I've got a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SE. I have the older AM/FM Cassette radio. I would like to add an FM adapter to my system so I can listen to my XM MP3 Radio, use my IPod, etc. I know how to remove the radio and I can see the antenna connection. I don't know how or where I to add the FM Adapter. From the front of the console, I see the male connection of the antenna. I "suspect" the antenna connector on the back of the module unit is soldered. Is there a male/female connection that need to be spit to install the FM adapter?? Has anyone added an FM adapter? Any help would be appreciated.

buy the cassette adapter to play mp3/ phone/pandora on; clarity is so much nicer than tuning to a fm station. just my experience.

I have never seen an FM antenna adaptor wired into the factory antenna. You can either use the cassette adaptor or an FM modulator that tunes to an unused frequency on your FM radio and plugs into the cigarette lighter. It has a USB port to charge your device and a 3.5mm stereo cable to plug into your devices audio input. There are several on eBay and Amazon for under $20
