Transmission "center" mount question...
So I replaced the front left mount today It was OEM and totally shot. While doing that I noticed the "center" mount near the drivers wheel was in poor shape and the metal plate or hinge ( sorry dont know the exact term) circled was rusted out flapping and hanging on by a thread. I see the replacement mount on rock auto http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinf ... cc=1358209 but what about that plate?

Re: Transmission "center" mount question...
I think that is the only pointless part on the Bonneville. I really see no use for it at all. I would just remove it and not worry about it.
