Looking for opinions on cleaning of the leather seats in my sle. I have cleaned many leather jackets with saddle soap. Just general cleaning, there are no stains or heavy dirt on the seats currently.
So what have you all used with good results?
Any info greatly appreciated.

I just cleaned the leather in my car a few days ago. I used a really cheap 10" orbital buffer with some lexol leather cleaner, and wiped it off with some warm water and a microfiber towel. After that was done i did the same with lexol leather conditioner and just kinda buffed it dry by hand. This is the softest my leather has been since i owned the car.

Lexol is some good stuff, I've been happy using it for a few years now. Brad (sandrock) sold me on it a few years back during a meet when we went to a junk yard and plucked some leather seats for another member. The seats weren't torn or anything but they were really greasy. I didn't believe him when he said they'd clean up, but sure enough they looked *dang* near new with little effort. But yea, Lexol has a cleaner and a conditioner, and I've been using Vinylex on the rest of the interior.

Use the Lexol in the Orange container first. Use it in warm water, get it lathered up good, use a soft horse hair brush to apply the foam. Be sure and follow the directions on the Lexol bottle for cleanup. Then use the Lexol in the dark Brown bottle. If you have the extra time, after applying the Lexol in the brown bottle, wrap the seats in plastic wrap to give it time to soak in good. I have a buddy that lives in Chicago, uses it on a couple of cars he shows. The leather looks so good, the judges can't hardly believe the leather is original. - BC
