I've seen that you guys like red...

So here is my 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SE. Her name is Bonnie(I know...very original lol) I picked this car up 6/1/13 for $3200. May seem a little high but I needed an upgrade(before this I had a 92 Olds 88 with 225k that had been wrecked twice by my older brothers. Engine was knocking so upgrade it was). The good part was that it only had 78k on the odometer. I am the third owner. She was originally owned by an older woman for the first 52k. Then it was bought buy a couple in 2012 and they sold it to me last year. Being 18 and having just graduated, this is my only vehicle so all all my driving is done with her. Over 86k now but that's nothing for a 3800 as long it remains maintained. When i first got it it needed tires so $500 Michelins were put on. And it had a slight oil leak so I replaced the oil pan gasket and that did the trick. Last winter she started leaking anti-freeze so I replaced the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets (stupid plenum lol). That's about all the mechanical problems I've had with her. Like some of you guys I like a little bit of modding here and there. Basically if it came off of a Bonneville, it may end up on my car. Hence the tails (one of my favorite parts about the 92-95). Just wish they didn't delam. I've also fixed some cosmetic things in the last year such as: cupholder, rear vents, lights above the rear doors, passenger side ceiling handle, passenger side fog light, steering wheel controls, and probably some more. Back in March I bought a green 93 SSEi that was sitting in a field close to where I live and pulled some parts off of it. After all was said and done, it was scrapped and I ended up getting more than what I paid for it and sold some parts for a couple hundred bucks. This forum has helped a lot with fixing here up. I love this car and I especially love the 92-95 Bonnies(I guess I'm biased). But anyway here are the pictures:

P.S. see if you can spy anymore 38's in the background.(my dad is kind of a fanatic and fortunately it carried over to me)

The rear end of these cars is the best part. Made me fall in love.

I had these 92 SE badges just laying around so I put them on my plates. Kinda cool

I grabbed the exhaust tips off a 93 SSEi. They were free and i was bored lol. Still need to get dual exhaust though. That's next on the to do list.
Image
Picked these babies up about a week ago. Chrome T Stars were meant for red Bonnies JMHO. Love these wheels. So much better than the original SE wheels she used to have.

Saw these on a 92 in a junkyard so grabbed them. I like the look

This is a replacement...

And so are these

Tight nets!! Got lucky there

Got this from a 93 SSEi. It was free so why not right? And I hung a funnel there.. the hole was there so i just did it lol
Image
Grabbed this from the same SSEi (along with the cup holder and rear vents). It was free as well so why not. Plus it looks nicer IMO

Head liner sags a bit... will be fixed someday

Love these low miles!!

Thanks for looking. I hope you like her. Glad to be a part of the club!

The car looks to be in amazing condition, enjoy it and it will last another 200,000 miles! Red is my favorite on these older ones, I had a very nice red '93 SSEi a few years back and still miss it.

Thanks. I do enjoy it very much. I plan on having it for a while. And I've seen pictures of your 93. Looked amazing. Sad to see it go...especially a red one. I have a soft spot for them.

Very nice! Red is probably my favorite color on the 90s Bonnevilles. Love the tail lights and exhaust tips :thumbleft:

You've done a really nice job of taking care of your Bonneville. Very good looking car. I like what you did with the tail light lens and exhaust tip(s). - BC

Very nice! You've found a gem with that one, it looks amazing. I see a couple Olds kicking around in the background, I want to know about the one in the garage. It looks similar to the GM concept sold at Barrett Jackson a couple years ago, although its probably only the same color and grill. That car resides on my iPad background, I just like the front end style better than the 96-99's.

The red looks great. You really didn't see a lot of the red 93-95 SE's even when these cars were much more common on the roads. To see a red one these days is pretty cool, especially in this condition.

I absolutely love it! It's so clean, and the interior looks brand new. A lot of the cloth interiors fade badly. Torque stars look great with the SSEi tails as well. Fake or not, exhaust looks good.

Looks like it's in great shape. If those are SSE/i tips, I think that's the first time I've seen that in the 12 or so years I've been on the Bonnie forums. Looks good!

Thanks for the seller tip, Kyle and glad you like my car. I am going to check this seller out now on Ebay! Welcome to the forum, btw. This is the nicest, most polite forum I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Hope you enjoy!

Cheers,
Adam
