Trans question

Post by blackbeauty99 »

back on the board, bonneville has been doing great...but there is one thing that makes me mad...its the transmission..it shifts way to early and I feel the motor is just loafing the car around...But lets cut to the chase, when she is dead cold I can go up to 30-35 in second..if I let up it will shift, now when it is warm it will shift right away..I do need to do a drop and fill soon....hope my tranny is not taking a dump..im not hard on the car at all...

Check the TPS before dooming the trans... If the TPS is off or going bad it can shift early and cause some off color shifts...
