2001 Bonneville SSEi. If the CD player is playing, pushing and holding the Driver 1 seat memory button to set the memory turns the CD player off. The power doesn't go off, as the radio then plays. It's more as if the radio button were being pushed to switch from the CD to the radio.
This strikes me as being weird. Any thoughts?
Seat memory turns off stereo?

It changes to the last setting that that driver had. If you switched back to the other driver, it should go back to the CD.

Yep. Took me a while to figure out why all of my radio setting were screwed up. As it turns out it will even store the memory of your balance, fader and EQ settings. Every time I would get in the car all of my EQ settings were messed up but my station presets were fine. Once I figured out that on the Bose system you actually have different EQ setting for each ststation and once you get everything all set you have to lock it in with the seat memory or they will all go back to previous settings every time you get in the car.
This same thing goes for the climate control as well.

Congratulations. You dug up a 4 year old post to add nothing of value.Goostoff wrote:Yep. Took me a while to figure out why all of my radio setting were screwed up.
