2003 ssei what catalytic converter

Had a problem last week with a maf sensor(replaced with new one) now I'm getting a PO420 code.Took the car out today for a test and when I pushed it(tried to accelerate hard) the front end was jumping and the car seemed to miss big time. All settled down when i backed off. Car has 120000 on it, engine less that 38000,first engine stb becauce of an intake leak @80,000. Does it sound like a catalytic converter problem to you?

I've heard of bad MAF's taking out catalytic converters before.

I install Magnaflow 99306HM's in all my project cars. The HM stands for Heavy Metal, and therefore more compliant with the OBD2 system.

What's the difference between the Magnaflow 46006 hm, 24204, and the 99306HM. Any difference in performance, one less likely to set off SES indicator?
Has anyone used the Goerlich 608227?
Would like to buy today.
