Reintroduction

It's been so long since I've last been here but I figured I would post some of my former pictures. I don't have any current since my 18" spoked rims are sitting in my former home's basement since they're pitted, but maybe this summer I will get some new tires and black rims. For old times sake:

This is a picture of awful quality taken back in 2006 of my car with Gumball's white SSEi:

A few pictures shortly after the purchase in 2006 (my goodness...the camera I had back then...I'm so sorry):

Right after the headlights were first cleared in 2006:

In the Maine snow with my new reverse lights in 2007:

Parking lot pictures in 2007:

Quite obviously before tint in 2007:

Some more parking lot shots in 2008. These show the 35% tint all around:

And finally the last change that was made in early 2009 which was the blacked out centerpiece on the trunk:

If I care enough in the future to pour more money into my aging Pontiac, I'll get some black spoked rims. Unfortunately the paint on the front of the hood and both rear quarterpanels has begun to bubble and chip away. Not sure if it's even worth trying to have that fixed anymore. :(

Good to see you around again! I hear you on wondering if it is worth it to fix the paint issues, my 03 is the same way. Dents all along the passenger side, nasty hood herpes, and severe cancer around the gas door. I swapped hoods with a black GXP I am parting out so that fixed the hood herpes issue, also going to swap the doors so that will take care of the dents and passenger fender will get swapped as well... only thing left will be the terrible gas door rot :(

Those rims looked great on your Bonneville! I'm usually not a fan of open spoke, but they work.

I understand trying to keep an old Bonneville running, as I deal with the issues mine gives everyday, but I'm a bit odd, in that I seem to like the challenge/punishment of keeping the car going!

I really like those rims! Shame that they are pitted... Cool to see another Mass guy on here as well

didn't I tint your tails way back in the day?

I Remember coming to your house and it was raining

Hah! Great memory.

Yes indeed it was you and someone else and it was indeed a wet day. I got pulled over a month or so later and was told to remove the tint so I needed to oblige. After I removed it from the tails, I decided I'd just black out the tailpiece altogether and I added a whole ton of paint to it. I would have cleared them as well if I had known how. I tried to dremel into the back piece at one point but I wasn't happy with how my dremel job was coming so I just stopped. If you shine high beams on the tail you can still see the red reflector on the interior - something that still annoys me to this day!

Looks really nice! Love those rims. What bulb are you running in the fog lights? Looks brighter than most!

Not sure to be honest with you! I can check and let you know. :) As far as I know, most of what I purchased were all Sylvania Superstars (I believe that's what they're called).
