2000 SSEI HUD

Post by Bmiller269 »

New to site and a lot of great info here . I have no display and the controls also doesn't seem to have any power . So I don't see a fuse for HUD is this a common issue? If not any idea on where to start?

Thanks in advanced

Did you look in the fuse-box under the backseat lower cushion? I haven't dealt with this issue before, so that's about the extent of my knowledge, lol.

I've checked both boxes engine bay and under seat. And all fuses checked good. Thinking it may be the switch.

The HUD module receives battery positive voltage from the rear fuse block.
The HUD module receives ignition positive voltage (IGN3) from the rear fuse block. (Fuse #34)

I drove mine for a year before I figured out that the HUD worked just fine; it was just adjusted so far down that I couldn't see it at all. So for future reference, check that first.
