Alright guys heres the story. went to go watch the big game last week at my parents house. started loosing heat on the way there and noticed it was running a bit warm. So I turned around and took it home and got my girlfriends jeep. finally got around to looking at it today and it is leaking internally?! once its warm steam is coming out of a hole in the block in the front of the motor just to the right of the head. any ideas what could be busted? LIM gaskets is my guess but would like a second opinion. oh yeah its a 2000 ssei has 110k on it. any help would be amazing ill try to take some pics for you guys to better explain it.

there is no freeze plug there. I looked at another motor in a friends car to make sure!

That looks like an external leak to me, alomost like there could be a hole in the line spraying, know what I'm saying. It looks like this is on the driver side of the engine where the thermostat and cross pipe are, am I correct? And that big shiny disc in the head is a freeze plug, if that went bad it could spill coolant. I also wanna say that the hole in the center of the pic is a vent for the flex plate. Id get a pressure test kit from an auto parts store to see where it could be leaking from, cause in that area there could be multiple things leaking. Thats gona your best bet, plus you don't wanna have to tear into the engine and get it all back together, only to find out that what you repaired wasnt the problem.

ive looked and looked and cant find anywhere that's leaking externaly. when it warms up there is a steady stream of steam coming out of that vent hole. I know my intake gaskets were starting to go anyway. was just hoping it would wait until it was warmer out def don't want to go do it when its 10 outside! anyone know what that vent hole connects to inside the motor? that's my main question about it.
