Replacing Struts

Thanks to Chicago roads.

My car is finally (has been, actually) due in for new struts allllll the way around, and I am going to have new springs put on the back too, because the car has had busted struts for a couple months now. So the rear has been very reliant on the springs. I finally have the money I need to get my suspension done so I am about to do it ASAP. First, I do know about RockAuto. What are some good quality struts that are recommended? Please don't give me the cheap crap if it is not worth it. I want quality ones for the best prices they have on there. Also, my car has the self leveling suspension.
I was looking at RAYBESTOS Part # 7171798 for the rear on my car.
PRO Part # 27210280 for the front
and MOOG Part # CC661 for the coil springs
Also, do I NEED new strut mounts with new struts?
If so, which ones are recommended?
Thanks in advance!

i replaced both front struts with monroe quicks- ...i had replaced the mounts earlier. Do them at same time if they are original!
You might need new mounts, depends if the front struts hesitates in turns. i thought for thousands miles that my brake drags. but it was mount that did not return.
for quality i really dont know. i drive normally on highway and i feel the monroes are just great (comparing to old steamship-captain feeling of bouncing front end).
I dont know if i would recognize difference in top-dollar struts to monroes stock ones.

Do you like how the car rides now? Other than the tired struts... Does the Load Level system work?
If you like the current ride quality and ride height I would keep the stock springs unless you have a broken one...
Just depends on what you are looking for... If you do the aftermarket the car will most likely sit a bit higher..

Never Gabriel! They are junk. And don't even waste your money on the cheap struts. I made that mistake on my car, rides like crap. Granted better than blow struts, but not much.
We put monroe sensatrac Quickstruts all around on the SSEi, that we had. They rode pretty well.
The 1997 we just got, the owner had the struts replaced twice because of issues with the first set he had (can't remember the first brand that was on there). What is on there now is KYB. They ride beautifully. Car just floats, can hardly feel any of the bumps (where as my other car slams/bangs on every bump).
I would highly recommend the KYB's.
