Wheel Bearing Question

I got the Raybestos wheel bearing out this afternoon, and I don't think it has an ABS sensor built into it. I'm used to a pigtail hanging off, but this one has nothing. I asked through Amazon if it did before I ordered it, and got two answers that it did, but it doesn't look like it to me. Am I missing the fact that my existing pigtail should plug into this somewhere?

That's definitely missing the pigtail.

Bah, so apparantly, I've ordered the last of these bearings that Amazon had. I don't want to wait for Amazon to ship me another one AFTER they get this one back, so I ordered their last one with next day shipping (yay Prime), for $52 + $7. I wanted one for the other side of the car, but don't need it as fast, so I went to order it, and the cheapest I can find it is $65.52 with shipping. This wireless wheel bearing is costing me about $20 since I could have ordered Amazon's last one for $52 with free shipping for the other side of the car.

Wouldn't it be the same price to get it at a local parts store so you can see what you get, and if any warranty issues arise, no return issues?

No, they charge an arm and a leg for absolute crap at the parts stores. I went through 2 NAPA hubs before I spent the money I should've the first time (cheaper than the CHEAP parts store replacement) and got the Timken hub for my SSEi.

Check AM Auto parts on e-Bay. I ordered two from them and they were cheap and shipped
very quickly for free.

Did those hubs have a brand on them when they arrived? They don't disclose any brand naming on their site.
I put Timken hubs on my 2003, a year apart. After 1.5 years the first one was making noise. Warrantied for 2 years at Autozone--whatever. They replaced it with a smile. They were really surprised the Timken had given trouble. At first the guy seemed like it was typical to have their cheaper hub get returned. His eyebrows went up when I pointed out it was the Timken.
Warranty for 2 years was worth it. I'm watching the 2nd hub for any noises.

I don't recall, but I don't think so. I put about 30K more on the car before I sold it, no problems.
I've bought a number of parts from AM with no bad experiences.

Another question, though it is too late now since I've put the hub on. The replacement came with a large oring that fit around the outer race of the bearing. It didn't seem like it would fit with the hub in place, so I ditched it. What's that for?

I've got 150K miles on the left front hub and 125K miles on the right front hub. Parts are Timken from O'Reilly. - BC
EDIT - Looks like that's a rear wheel bearing - in that case mine are still Timken, but all with less than 50K miles, and from O'Reilly - BC

Beats me. I did both mine, no O-ring. They worked fine.
