I think my car had a stroke.

Last night I noticed that I could not turn off the traction control. Also the key in the ignition chime will not stop with the door open. Also the climate control display shows three dashes. Could this be a BCM issue, or is it something else?

Have you had any water leaks?

Not that I can see. The car sits in the garage most of the time The power locks do not work also. The Traction control and the climate control take a few seconds to power up too. Would something like this throw a code anywhere. Maybe I'll have to have a Dealer look at it.

Can anybody tell me what the dashboard integration module controls?

Sounds to me like a communications issue among controllers, probably from sitting (as you state that the vehicle sits in the garage most of the time), if a voltage drop happens, sometimes they shut down and don't recommunicate right away when power is restored.

I bet You have DTC B1390 and/or B1422. Both concern DIM issues as it relates to voltages and power moding.

Can these codes be reset, or what are my options at this point? Sounds like time to schedule an appointment.

It's not a code issue. It's an issue of communications between modules.

Turns out the Module was bad. Three of them later and everything works again. :)
