Hi My name is Rob and just found a great 98 Bonneville SSEI. I had to talk my wife into it, but now she loves it! Drives great and has a lot of power, I stomped on it once and I think I still have a grin! She is low milage at 109k at the purchase and drove it 700 miles the first weekend we bought it. Drove her down HWY 1 coastal freeway in California all the way to Hurst castle and back.
I don't have any pictures yet but its a dark green metallic is it forest or emerald green?
I found this site while trying to fix some weird a/c not blowing out of vents issue, and I was able to fix it today by bypassing that vacuum line hookup at the HVAC programmer as described in one of your posting. So I am already excited to find such an informational site! Getting ready to mess with the ABS light issue next...
Thanks,
Rob

Ha, yes. The ladies of the family. We have a Bonneville (it's mine now cause it's 21+ years old and she won't drive it any more because she doesn't think it's dependable - lol) because the lady of the house had to have one. Thanks for joining. When you can, we'd love to see photos of your Bonneville. - BC

Thanks,
I will get pictures soon, yesterday I got some touch up paint and adjusted one of the doors. I had to paint two doors since they were off another car with a pearl coat that looked off at certain angles. hopefully I can polish the paint out to match although the paint didn't lay out as I would have liked the color was a great match. Wife is happy so I guess I am too!
