Hope youve enjoyed these pictures, guys, heres a COUPLE parting shots for yall!

Thanks! Yeah, the El Camino actually belongs to the brother of my buddy who drives the Caddy. Both of whom are 2 of my best friends. We built the ElCo up tho, it came originally with a 4.3L V6 and we stuffed in a built 350 and a 350 Turbo tranny with a shift kit and 3.73 rear gears. The thing flys!Saturn Simon wrote:Looks pretty good.
I like the other cars in that photo too, especially the El Camino. I've always wanted one of those.

Thank you! It served me very well!1oldman wrote:great first Bonneville! - BC

haha forgive my ignorance, but laces are the wheels or the striping lol?rfoster wrote:I love the laces on your white bonnie. Looks like you loved her!
For the leather seats, use a magic eraser. Works wonders - but condition the leather after. Keep the progress going! As always - we love pictures

haha that's kinda what I thought you might have meant lol. I'll check that out, thanks! Ive got a lot of success out of the products I already used on this car, and it is a night and day difference, but theres just a couple of little annoyances that refuse to go away haha. Believe it or not, the white Bonneville I had was in worse shape when I got it. Her name was Sally, and I cleaned out 2 trash bags of garbage, 2 trash bags of cloths (and I'm talking the big black garbage bags!) and replaced the windshield cuz someone had thrown a brick in it, and spent 3 days cleaning and detailing the whole thing, and I had to put in a new transmission and brakes and plugs and wires and changed oil and replaced the intake manifold and starter and windshield wiper motor. I learned a TON from that car haha! My dad thought I was crazy spending so much time and money on it, but I bought it with 180k miles on it and sold it with 300k, so I got all my money and enjoyment out of it and then some lol!rfoster wrote:"Laces" refer to the cross lace rims. I personally love those on that body style!
PS - if you need ideas on cleaning up your car, find some of Andrew's (harofreak00) threads of his flips. He has great ideas - that's how I got mine so clean!
