97 SSEi Tuneup

I am in dire need of a tuneup but do not trust anyone around here including the local Chevy dealer who RECENTLY I went to for an oil change and did not tighten the oil filter. I headed off on a 800 mile trip right after the oil change only to have a huge puddle under car the next morning.

What do I need to tune my baby up the best ?

Plugs, Wires I know this much but what else can I do as she has 271,000 miles on her RUNS strong and hard but needs some loving ?

Thank You,

John

Has anyone changed the Intake Manifold gasket on their Super Charged Bonneville ?

What is involved in doing so ?
