misfire or jerking
My 05 sle is jerking or misfiring when I start it up. But only when the engine is cold, if it is warm it runs fine. I do have an SES light and the codes are P0420,B1245 I am thinking plugs and wires but everyone is suggesting the cat be replaced. I already did the visual check of the cat and it didnt turn cherry red. Things I replaced the MAF,TPS cleaned the IAC, FPR, fuel filter, had the ICM checked passed with flying colors. What brand of wires should I use because right now I have some autozone wires in there with ACdelco iridiums. Any other suggestions?

Napa beldin wires all the way. They work great with our cars and they have a lifetime warranty. I have noticed a slight power gain ever since I started running these wires.

Re: misfire or jerking
tap your cat with hammer slightly . if it sounds like something rattling inside . it should be replaced .

Re: misfire or jerking
It can. IF the cat is plugged it is making it super difficult for your car to "exhale".
