Hello everyone! I joined the club back in July 2012 but I never officially introduced myself..... I come from the Madison area of Wisconsin. I have had my Galaxy Silver 2000 SE Bonneville for over a year now. I am proud to say that this is my first car! It had about 135,000 miles on it when I bought it and I am the second owner. It's been such a pleasure to drive. The first upgrade I did was the air filter to a K&N 33 series. Then I soon found out that the left sway link bar was missing, so I got two new ones. Next, over the summer the rear right stut was leaking, so I replaced both rear struts with new ones. Most recently I am soon going to replace the fuel filter (original 13 year old AC Delco) with a new Wix fuel filter. I've also gotten new Michelin Defender tires. I've been keeping up with maintenance such as an oil change and oil filter. I even bought a new oil drain plug. The biggest issue I have is rust.... It's poking through under the gas cap and on the edges of the door panels. Other than that it runs very well. Overall I love my Bonneville and it's great to be part of the club!

Welcome to the club. Until a week ago, I was the owner of a super clean 2002 Silver SE. Got rearened at an intersection in Milwaukee. Still waiting to hear what the other guy's insurance company will give me, but I'll be looking for another Bonneville. Perhaps a little newer SLE or SSEi.

Add some photos when you can, we love that stuff!

Hey thanks for the welcome! 2002FO i'm sorry to hear about your '02 SE. But a newer SLE or SSEI would be sweet. I would like to get some good outdoor pics of my '00 SE in the summer. I recently posted some pictures of my engine bay. As far as modifications go for my Bonnie, I would just like to keep it simple and slowly replace old worn out parts. I would like to keep her running for as long as possible :-)

That originally my plan too but with all the things i plan on doing, she's going to have to be around for a long time. Because i haven't seen many with my mileage or more last too long after that. But this is more about me having fun with my childhood dream car. Since my i first rode in it when i was 4 it definitely has a lot of sentimental value. Good luck! and have fun with it most important thing=)
