Hi everyone! So i plan on installing my alpine 500 w mono amp and alpine type r 10 inch sub in my car using a line out converter. To my understanding all i will need to do this is a line out converter And An amp install kit right? Are there any special tools i will need? Also are their any tips for a clean install?

That's all you need tools and supplies wise. That's how my system is running.

You have an SE, so this process should be less of a pain in the arse than mine was. When I was working on Carl's it seemed easy, then I decided to tackle Bose and it drove me up a wall. But I digress...

What he said.^^^ You should be good to go.

Does your SE have the amp in trunk? If so pink wire, just peel back the plastic coat and wrap your remote to it. If not, I would run a line to battery and throw a toggle switch in your center console so you won't kill your battery. If you have wires behind your stock and not the ribbon cable, you can also hook your remote to the accessory ( yellow) line, then the amp will turn on an off with the car with out a toggle switch.
