Goodbye Bonneville 40th, hello Acura

Post by ohenry5 »

Well I hate to say it, but the Bonneville is gone, I traded it in for something newer. It had 138,500 miles when i took it in. There were too many things starting to go wrong with the car and I couldn't justify putting more money into it. So I decided to trade it in and get a 2007 Acura TL with 44,XXX miles. I havent been on the forum in a long time but wanted to thank those that helped with my questions, etc. about the car. This was a great forum to be a part of!

This picture is the car all cleaned up ready to be traded in.

This is my new Acura the day I got it! I am quite happy with it so far.

Great choice and it's fast. I'd be kinda jealous if it was the TL Type S, lol

Sorry to see that 40th go, that was definitely a sweet car. Congrats on the TL though, those are a lot of fun. I love that body style. I owned a pearl white '05 A-spec for a brief stint, before I returned it because of previous accident-related problems. LOVED the way it drove, the power, the seats, size, features, controls, fit/finish/quality, and the styling inside and out. And that ELS sound system has got to be one of the best I've ever heard. It felt like a car tailored to me...would still love to own one again, if it was well maintained and the tranny was solid. But, the Fusion is fun enough/nice enough it's keeping me satisfied for now.
