Not sure why it took me so long to get this up...

If you wanna know how quick the Bu-thang is...here it is! She's pretty quick and defnitely a screamer with the 7000 rpm redline and 6 speed transmission. Shifts sound pretty good with the car in sport mode as well. Most owners report 0-60 times in the 5.5-6.0 second range depending on mileage and condition.

Sweet Jesus! I didn't realize those things were that quick! Nice ride. The blue looks really cool too.

Thanks man! The S10 is doing great. It gets driven every weekend and I love driving it because it's so different from the Malibu. It honestly drives like an old 70's lead sled...big, slow, loud, comfy and very wallowy!Bing wrote:Very nice Dan! Actually sounds good too, glad you're enjoying the Malibu.

I have really been considering an LTZ for a while. One for sale near me same color as yours, two tone interior, but I still am wondering on those transmissions...

Buy with confidence. We have two cars now with the 3.6/six speed combo and they are bulletproof. Literally. I've had more problems with the 4L60E in my truck (another solid transmission) in the same mileage range.

Looks great Dan, I'm happy you got the V6. The 4 bangers are dangerously slow.

That thing is sickening quick!! It sounds mean, too, especially being stock. I'd love to hear how she sounds on the exterior when you're getting into it.

Forgot to check up on this...thanks guys! I love the way it sounds too. The 3.6 is a screamer for sure with it's 7000 rpm redline. Many tunes can actually safely push the redline up to nearly 8000 rpm. Check this out:

(G6 GXP is the same thing as my car, basically. Tune works for mine too)
