I was wondering what to look for when buying an alternator. Specifically amp output. I read that stock is 125 amps. I found a 140 amp for $107 at APW http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sku/Q ... 11035.html. Trust me, I wanted the denso but are out of stock and is way more expensive elsewhere. They had it for about $137 and everywhere elso wants about $180 or higher.

Just get yourself a Leece-Neville 4800 series alternator, 180 amps at idle

Those things are pretty steep in price. Im looking at $200 and under. Seem like great ones, it just doesnt fit the budget at the moment.
