I recently purchased a 2k B-ville SSEI. I have some minor issues, but now have been repaired. I washed the engine compartment today and now the A/C compressor will not come on. I have checked the following:
-all Hvac fues/relays( to include those under the back seat)
-clutch fuse
-tested fire to the compressor (none)
-there are no codes displayed
Is there any reason why there is no power (something being blocked) to the compressor.
The A/C was working very good...

Charge must've gotten below the switch's limit. It won't allow it to kick on if the level is below a set level. Try topping it off with a "recharge in a can", and if it stops again, it's time to look for leaks with a sniffer or blacklight.

Yeah, I have been doing some research and came across these two videos from an old pro...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMM80xlo ... ure=relmfu
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3o1l4r_ ... ure=fvwrel
You could possibly right... I didn't think it was a charging issue because the unit was running great. I will follow this video tomorrow after work and ensure everything else is working properly... but I am leaning more to the charging, because if the level is low the high/low pressure switch will not allow any current to travel over to the compressor.
I might try and jump the high/low pressure switch to see if the compressor will come on... yep will try that right now...

Re: A/C assistance needed
well, went out to test compressor by jumping the line, however the 2k B-ville has a three wire connector.
Well I reconnected the compressor and nothing happen, tried the three wire two ways and the A/C unit wouldn't come on... so I reconnected the high/low pressure switch and the unit started working.
This is leaning me towards the low charging of the system. I can't explain why washing the engine compartment would make the unit not operater as it was prior to the cleaning. Tomorrow I will know for sure if the system is low or not. Eitherway, I have A/C NOW..... THANK THE LORD....

Might have just gotten some water in the connection, and unplugging and reconnecting made the connection again. I guess I skimmed over that you washed it...

I think it was more than getting moister/water in the connection. The compressor is mounted low and I am sure it get wet all the time.
I think it's the sudden cold temps that caused the pressure to drop, which resulted in the high/low pressure switch shutting down the compressor.
I will have it checked to day to see if any is required.
