Water in car

Post by blubyu »

OK, water in trunk, check/fixed. Today I found water under the carpet in the front passenger compartment. Not sure yet, but it appears it may be coming through the seam underneath.
Anyone know if this is supposed to be a drain? Because i can pour water on the hole and it comes out below.

Padding under the carpet was absolutely sopping wet. I ran the air for a while and that did not appear to be leaking inside. I also poured water in the sunroof and it appeared to be draining normally. From what i can tell, it is isolated to this one area.

You may need to get this moved to the 2000-2005 section because the GXP section
doesn't seem to get much action. Your problem is similar to all the Bonnevilles of that
year/model , not just the GXP, so I would ask there.
But the moderators may not like it....... :-$
