SLE or SSEi with GXP body?

Ok, so latley I have been seeing not one but 3 Bonnevilles that have GXP bumpers, side cladding, and tail lights, but with SLE wheels, spoiler. and badging. I cought some pics I can upload if anyone thinks I am nuts, cause my dad does
Did GM make this and I was just not aware? If so I would have bought one of those over a LS V8

That sounds like a 2005 SLE. That's how they came, and there are a few owners here with them

Yep. 05 is the only year the SLE used the GXP cladding. Only way to really tell the difference from the outside is the rims and badging. Interior is the same as a normal SLE, and they have the 3800...

The 2005 SLE got the regular spoiler not the GXP three piece unit as well as like mentioned above the 17" chrome bent 5 spoke wheels, also the exhaust tips are different GXP got the nice dual outlet staggered chrome tips while the SLE got the standard oval tips.

Wow. Wish I knew,dont know how I didn't know. Just did a search on craigslist and found one first thing.

Also the 05 SLE didn't get the GXP interior pieces.
