Hi... i spent the weekend replacing the rear suspension on my bonneville and came across the fact that the ride height sensor is trashed... i was wondering if there was any way to bypass this or maybe just get some air fittings to pump up my shocks manually... or where might i get a decent used sensor... i called the dealer and they told me somethin like 250.00 for a new sensor and i just dont have tht kind of extra money at the moment... Any Ideas??

There is a kit available that has the lines & a schrader valve that you can mount in the trunk. Give me a few minutes & I'll look for the part number. We also have a member that has lots of parts for the 2000+ model years.

I believe this is the kit you need, AK-29. Use this if the fitting going to the strut has a 90 degree bend.

If the fitting is straight then use AK-16.

PM harofreak00. I'd guess he has at least one.

Also, don't completely remove the compressor, as apparently the fuel pump grounds through its wiring. Don't ask me how I know, lol. (EDIT: You just need to remember to hook the big connector back together that leads to the ground, LOL. Compressor can be removed)

Ok thank you guys... I was wondering tho.... i have been manually bypassing the height sensor to kick the pump in but it seems as tho after a short ride the shocks go back down... do these shocks vent extra pressure when you hit a bump to keep from blowing or does it sound like my air lines are leaking... Just wondering, because if they do vent extra pressure it would probley just make more sence to replace the height sensor??

There is a vent function, controlled by the RIM (rear intergration module). When you pump up the rear struts you have to disable to sensor to maintain the extra height. I would replace the sensor, pm Harofreak00, he has many.
