will this sunroof fit?
will this sunroof fit?
I was at the junk yard and seen a 2000 grand prix with a sunroof. I have a 2001 SSEi, does anyone know if that would fit mine? Thanks
Matt

My question is, what do you need? Do you not have a sunroof and want to add it, or have a busted glass you need fixed, or a busted track that needs to be fixed? Each is a completely different deal, but likely none will work from said Grand Prix, especially #1.

Chiming in as I have a sunroof problem and see you guys might have some(used) parts other than new stock GM parts?
My sunroof a year or two ago, when coming back up to close(from sliding back), heard something break, managed to get it forward and into position. From what I have read you have to buy the whole darn thing from GM (900.00?) to fix it.
I guess what I am asking is this:
How much a pain is it to fix(procedure wise-pulling down the headliner)
And do any of you have any used(useable) parts?
I have put enough into my car and thought if I can fix it for a couple hundred dollars I will do it. Never had a headliner down before. Problem is with myself, if it is an interior piece of trim and has a clip, I will break it!!
Bought a used sender from 00Beast a while back and that cured one problem!
If I can do the job and not spend much more than a 100.00-200.00(parts) the car is worth it.
The seal, glass and rest is fine.
It actually will move up but wont slide back without getting cocked.
You guys have always helped me with this car the last 3 years and I do appreciate it.

Guessing you bought something from harofreak00, as I definitely haven't sold anyone from UT anything that I remember, ever, lol. I also don't sell much...

Re: will this sunroof fit?
yeah I emailed Haro a while back and it was going to be 100 plus 100 to ship then install cost. I never had a sunroof before so the fact that it doesn't open is ok. The motor works it just won't move.
