ECC Controls - AC out the vents (Floor/Defrost)

Post by bsan63 »

I was wondering, if I adjust my AC mode to come out of the front facing vents it is cold. If I adjust my AC mode to come out of the floor or defrost vents it is warm.

Question 1 is: is this normal (I wouldn't think so but I can't remember)

Question 2 is: if not, what is the possible problem. Is it the blend door/actuator. Should I pull the rod off, set the temp to 90 and them push the rod back on?

I've got vacuum and can hear the door adjust from floor to face to defrost.

Thanks for the help.
