cylinder 3 misfire

Post by forcefedbucket96 »

I've done a tune up, changed the fuel pump, used Lucas injector cleaner, and when I get it scanned at oreillys it still shows up as a misfire on cylinder 3 and occasionally sn't run to well. Usually in the mornings or when I take off from work after its been sitting a few hours. Timing problem maybe? 96 ssei btw.

Check the coil according to tech info above. Make sure plug wire is on correctly and check plug for any fouling.

Plugs and weird brand new. Checked for loose wire, still running badly. Any other ideas?

Bad wires, even new ones, are not unknown. Did you save the old ones? Swap out the old wire in place of the new and see what happens.
